Every piece begins as a hand-painted canvas and ends as a garment nobody else on earth will ever own.
A canvas goes up — five feet tall, twenty feet long. Sometimes it’s painted alone in the studio at 3 a.m. Sometimes it’s painted in a room full of people leaving brushstrokes, music, and weather inside it. Either way, the painting is the source. The garment is what the painting becomes.
Each canvas yields two to four pieces. Cut in Austin. Sewn in Los Angeles by hands that are paid what hands like that should be paid. No prints. No reorders. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
